NET fares are low, and there is plenty of cross-operator ticketing with local bus companies and National Rail. For example an all-day TramRider ticket is just £2.40, and for only 30p more a CityRider also allows travel on Nottingham City Transport buses. For more details of NET fares see the fares page.

Some other tram systems in the UK have experienced problems with ticket vending machines at stops, and Midland Metro and Sheffield Supertram have both abandoned them in favour of conductors issuing tickets on-board the trams. NET is the first modern system in the UK to operate with conductors from the outset. For more details on NET tickets see the tickets page.
