Level crossing at the south end of Butler's Hill. The road is a dead end and is very lightly used, so the gates are manually operated with a telephone provided linked to a Network Rail signalbox. The gates protect both the tram and rail tracks. Contrast with crossings at Bulwell Forest and David Lane stops
