Mitcham Junction tram stop is next to the railway station of the same name. Trains on the former Wimbledon–West Croydon line used the same two platforms as Sutton line trains, but for Tramlink services two separate platforms were constructed, and the flat junctions were replaced by a single-track tram flyover to the east of the station.
