Nottingham Express Transit : Pictures : tram dawn at near Wilkinson Street

As a murky winter dawn breaks over Nottingham, the trams are mid-way through the morning peak. This is Wilkinson Street, at the northern end of the Hyson Green loop—on the left 207 climbs towards the Radford Road traffic lights, and on the right 208 waits on reserved track for clearance to cross Armstrong Way and reach Wilkinson Street stop, on a Hucknall journey. In the background is the point where the northbound and southbound tracks swap sides for the Hyson Green loop—to the right is the delta junction and the tracks leading to the depot; Wilkinson Street stop is just out of shot
